A PLACE TO SLEEP

Stay overnight at the BaseCamp

Welcome to our many accommodation options. The comfort of the mountain lodge or more affordable hostel options – the choice is yours! We have emphasized simplicity and proximity to nature in all our rooms.

A delicious breakfast is included, no matter which option you choose. This is served at the mountain lodge, where you will also find the reception, restaurant and our cosy lounge with a fireplace. At Hikers’ Café you will find our activity and rental centre, souvenir shop and kiosk.

There are also plenty of choices when it comes to nature-based experiences. Hiking to Pulpit Rock, canoeing on Refsvatnet lake or fishing, to mention but a few!

The hike to Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) and back is 8 km and takes 4-5 hours. The route has an ascent of 500m, while some sections are quite steep. As part of the hike to Pulpit Rock involves rough terrain, we recommend wearing footwear with solid soles and good ankle support.
